There's a great read on Bobby Blue Eyes out on ESPN's Outside the Lines today. There is also the prerequisite video accompaniment for shallow, ADD-types like myself. I have embedded the latter and linked to the former because, in the parlance of the streets, 'I got you, fam'. Enjoy.

You may not know the name Prairie Rose Clayton but if you've seen a Revs game or USMNT match in the last few years you've probably seen her work.

And good work it is. Check it out in the latest Supporters Week video from MLSsoccer.com.

You may not believe this given their current form but the LA Galaxy are the reigning MLS Cup champs. And being the champs not only gets you a ring and cup but also a trip to the White House to pose for a baller-ass photo with Barack O'Bama*.

Watch this meeting of the politically juiced and the victory-challenged live courtesy of Whitehouse.gov at 2:15pm ET. If either party shows up even 2 minutes late I encourage you to start a #LAGalaxyAndObamaAreLateBecause hashtag ASAP; with Beckham, Arena and Obama for subject matter the possibilities are astounding.

*I'm changing his name ahead of a predicted shock move to turn out for Ireland at Euro 2012. He'll pull a Meara and get citizenship through some old ancestor or other.

I'm currently redoing my basement, reconfiguring it to a more soccer-specific layout. Or about as soccer-specific as you can get with a pool table in the middle of the room.

I have some decent memorabilia but I have a ways to go before I reach Branden Steineckert-status. With the Hall of Fame shuttered up in Oneonta, his place might be one of the better collections of American soccer loot to be found outside of a stadium club or MLS HQ. Straight jealous.

People with completely white eyeballs are not sexxy. Shallow, post-disco sassiness out of Brooklyn is.

For better or worse both are featured in the video for "Mind Control". Welcome to the Friends zone.

It's Friday, the sun is out and there are drinks about. Time for some faux-reggae.

So I give you Wild Belle. Sure, it's no Bunny Wailer but it beats the hell out of Sublime. Sorry, Sean Rubio.

Totally random but I'm a sucker for all of the old World Cup '94 news pieces. Especially the ones that highlight the Kearny boys.

For men of a certain age this era was the American soccer equivalent of the Daisy Age/Native Tongues with Harkes as Q-Tip, Ramos as Mike Gee and Meola as Maseo. We never had a Busta though....we needed a Busta!

Not content to let Houston get all the new-stadium love, the Impact would like to remind you that they have a new house under construction to. Get some.

Alsom I'd like to point out that, as far as visual aesthetics go, the Impact are top of the table. How come your club's videos don't look this artsy?

There's a new documentary coming out about the PDL's Brooklyn Kinghts. I'm sure this film will be good because, really, how can a film about American soccer in Brooklyn not be cool.

Also, the teaser uses The Chromatics' "Tick of the Clock" so it's already a 10 out of the box. Unfortunately that means it can only go south from here but you should help them get this thing out anyway.

Damn. Everybody is doing "The Drake" dance now, even DeRo. Maybe this is, like, some secret dance that only multi-ethnic Canuckistani's can ever truly master.

Dude's got it down pat. He should replace his trademark goal celebration dance with this; it's pretty much the Canadian 'Carlton'.
